Customer Questions
I mounted this product on the front of a shed, but it only lights up when I am on a ladder directly in front of it. Why is that? It does not pick up any motion and turn on.
The light is continuously turning off for a couple of minutes and then on for a minute as if there was motion but there was none and never stops. How do I fix this?
Please try resetting your fixture. If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for technical support and/or warranty replacement. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
Is it possible to reduce the 49 foot "reach" by partially shielding the sensor?
Yes, you can put a piece of electrical tape around the sensor to create a shield to cut down on triggers.
Can it operate on timer only, no motion activation. I want to set to come on for 30 minutes to four hours continuous.
This fixture has three settings: Off: Select off to completely switch off the device. Auto: This is the normal Automatic motion sensing mode. The light will stay on as long as the Fixture detects motion. After the fixture no longer senses motion, it will turn off after 20 seconds. ES: This is energy-saving mode. When motion is detected, the light turns on at 70% brightness for 20 seconds. when the fixture no longer senses motion, it will go to 20% brightness. Then the light will turn off completely after 40 seconds.
How do I make it just come on at night?
This fixture should only operate at night unless the dusk learn button was held down in daylight.  The light is preset to work only after dusk. If you want the light to work at a predetermined "dusk" time, then you need to set it using the Dusk Learn button Press the Dusk Learn button once to recalibrate the dusk level to the
current light level. The motion sensor will now activate at this light level from now on. If you want the light to work day and night (regardless of the light level), push the Dusk Learn button while the fixture is outdoors during the day, or hold the fixture up to a light source and push the Dusk Learn button. The motion sensor will turn on the lights day or night, regardless of the light level; the red LED indicator will blink twice to let you know it has reset the dusk level. To return to the default setting, push the Dusk Learn for around 3 seconds and the red LED indicator will blink twice to indicate that you have returned to the default setting.
Still won’t set for night only. Why?
This fixture should not operate during the day unless the dusk learn button was held down in daylight. To return to the default setting, push the Dusk Learn for around 3 seconds and the red LED indicator will blink twice to indicate that you have returned to the default setting.
Can you mount under a soffit?
Eave mounting is an option.
What does ES mean on it on the settings
ES: This is energy-saving mode. When motion is detected, the light turns on at 70% brightness for 20 seconds. When the fixture no longer senses motion, it will go to 20% brightness. Then the light will turn on completely after 40 seconds.
