240-Degree 3-Head 3300 Lumen Dual Detection LED Motion-Activated Flood Light with Timer - Bronze

Can this light just go motion only at night?
Yes. This fixture has a factory preset that keeps the area light on at a low beam from dusk to dawn. The fixture will then jump to high beam once triggered with motion. To turn this off, you will need to reset the fixture. Please try resetting your fixture by following the instructions below. Please make sure the fixture is put into test mode prior to cutting power to the fixture. The fixture then needs to come on twice in test. Once when power is turned back on and a second time with motion. After this is successfully completed, you are reset, you can put it your desired settings. Do NOT leave the fixture in test. Please do NOT adjust the fixture after the reset, or toggle the wall switch. Give it at least 24 hours to reset and calibrate. If you have any issues with the fixture after or during the reset, please let me know right away. Please note the fixture should not operate out of test mode in daylight hours due to the built in dusk to dawn sensor. Please note the third or fourth dial is your low beam area light. That will keep the fixture on from dusk to dawn, if you want this to operate strictly with motion, turn that setting off. If the fixture does not trigger with motion in test. Still take the fixture out of test, put in your desired settings, and see how it operates tonight. We also recommend turning the area light dial on and off a couple of times before you set it. Security Light Installation Part 11: How to Troubleshoot and Reset Your PIR
I just purchased and installed an outdoor motion activated 3 way spot light, model # SE1293-BP2-02LF0-G OR SE1293-WH3-02LF0-G. I have the dusk to dawn setting off. Light is at 5000 for 5 minutes set at max distance. It worked as it should for about a week. It shuts off when the sun comes up and goes on when the sun goes down but it does not turn off all night long. It appears to be stuck on and not working in the motion activated mode. Dusk to dawn is off. I have changed the power, the time and the distance. Moved the dusk to dawn on and then back off to see if I could get it to work. We have not turned it on manually using the light switch. It just will not turn off and go into motion activation. Is there something that we can do?

For SE1292 and SE1293 models, if you want the low beam area light off, change the setting to 3 hrs prior to putting in test mode. Once you reset and take the fixture out of test, change the area light setting to off. While power is on change the area light settings to 3 hours, then put the fixtures into test mode.
Turn power off for 2-3 minutes.
Turn power on.
Lights should come on for 15-20 seconds then shut off.
After the lights shut off, try triggering in test. If they do not trigger that is fine.

Turn the area light off.
What side of the 2-way connect do I want to use?
It does not matter what row you plug your wires into, but we recommend that you put ALL the wires into the same row. More importantly, you need to make sure that the supply wires from the house match (in color) with the wires coming from the fixture.

Turn the area light off. Or to desired setting. For SE1292 and SE1293 models, it is very important that the area light is set to 3 hrs before putting into test, then off after taking out of test if you want the are light feature off.
My unit good earth lighting model SE1293-BP2-02LF0-G suddenly won't turn off lights. I have turned to test mode to leave until lights go off but they never go off. I have it set on off for the time for the area light and about 6 minutes to stay on when activated by the motion sensor.
Please try resetting your fixture by following the instructions below: 1) Turn on the fixture and wait for the fixture to warm up (when it blinks, about 20s)

3) Wait 5s
4) Change the Area Light dial to “OFF”
