Can you cut these and reattach?
Please be advised that due to the fact that this strip is IP65, water and dust proof, it is not recommended that you cut the strip. Once the strip is cut it is no longer IP65 and can be damaged by water and/or dust. How many strings can you add to make a continuous string?
Unfortunately, you cannot connect multiple strips of tape light together. 
Can you have a run longer than 24 feet? And if not, can you sync more than one strand?
You cannot exceed 24 feet with this tape light and you cannot connect multiple strips together. You can, however, operate both sets with the app as this is Wi-Fi.
The strip light is roughly 50” longer than needed. Can it be cut or what would you recommend to shorten it?

How do you schedule start and stop times for LED lights? I do not see a stop time in the Good Earth application, only when to turn on the lights and repeat days.
How do I connect without Wi-Fi?
This fixture requires Wi-Fi in order to operate. We have a similar product that uses a remote instead of Wi-Fi. Model #AC1274-RGB-24LFW-G
Do you make a shorter Wi-Fi light system, say 12 feet?
We are sorry to disappoint you, but this is only available in 24 feet. You can cut the strip to shorten if need be. Just make sure you cut on the scissor marks and seal the end with clear silicone or adhesive.
Is this device able to only be controlled by one device at a time? For instance, I would like to have control from Alexa and 1 or 2 phones.
Yes it can be controlled from multiple devices but both people should not try and control it at the same time as that would be confusing. You can just login to the same account on both devices.
Can the light strip be controlled by a remote instead of smart phone?
This fixture can only be controlled with the Good Earth Lighting app. We do have a similar kit that is controlled with remote: AC1274-RGB-24LFW.    
Only works in music mode when the app is open on cell phone. How do you use music mode while still using other apps on cell phone?
Unfortunately, at this time, the app has to remain open for this function. 
Won’t light. Outlet is working and connections are tight. What’s wrong?
Please disconnect and reconnect all components and try again. These lights are controlled via the Good Earth Lighting app. Are you unable to connect to the app? Are you in 2.4ghz or 5.0ghz? Internet must be in 2.4ghz to connect to the Good Earth app. If you are unsure if you are in 2.4ghz or how to switch to 2.4ghz, contact your internet service provider. If your router switches between 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz and you are unable to connect, reach out to your ISP to ensure you've switched to 2.4ghz. The fixture needs to be rapidly flashing while in pairing mode in order to connect and you must be on the same Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect to. You can also try restarting/resetting your mode or router and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Power cycle the router for 30 seconds. You can also use the auto scan feature to see if the fixture pops up and pair that way. Try connecting near the router, with the strip unrolled and elevated for first pairing. I have the LED light but I'm missing the WiFi controller and brackets and screws. Can I purchase the WiFi controller and the brackets and screws without the light?
We do not sell the parts/accessories for our tape light kits separately. If they were missing from the box, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 to inquire about replacement parts under warranty. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
What double stick tape works with these lights?
If using outdoors, we recommend using industrial strength. 
Mine was working and one day it wouldn't work on the app. Tried to reset the lights but the lights don't show up when I'm scanning for devices even when they are blinking.
Confirm your router is set to 2.4ghz, restart your router, power off the fixture for two minutes, and try pairing again near the router if possible so the lights receive a better signal. If I purchase more than one 24-FT Outdoor Tape Light RGBW, will I be able to control both strips in the app?
You can pair multiple lights to the app.
Where can I find the connectors for the AC1274-RGB-24LFW-G? Need to go around corner.
We are so sorry to disappoint you but there are no connectors available for this tape light kit. Due to the fixture being IP65 and having the protective coating, you are unable to cut and reconnect. You can only cut to length.
Can you add a dimmer wall switch to the lights (i.e. Lutron)?
These lights cannot be used on a dimming circuit.
Can you cut the extra off?
You can safely cut this tape light at the scissor marks located on the tape itself. We do recommend sealing the end you cut with some clear silicone so the tape does not get any dust or water inside.
Can you buy a replacement remote if you broke yours?
The remote for this tape light kit is not sold separately, but please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for assistance.
Can you buy a long roll cut it and buy more transformers?
Unfortunately, the parts and accessories for our tape light kits are not sold separately.

Can I buy a replacement connector cord?
This kit does not come with linking cords/corner connectors. 
Does this light tape work well in the salt air on the beach? Does it work well where it is very windy?
This tape light has a silicone cover and is IP65-rated, meaning it is dustproof and waterproof. It is also installed with clips as opposed to adhesive so it should work fine for your application.
I installed 6 of these for cabinet lights upper and lower. When I switch them on (all on the same switch) 2 of them blink for the first 5 minutes then go solid like the rest. What’s wrong? I’m not using them for Wi-Fi/color. Just the 3K color.
When these fixtures flash that means they are in pairing mode so you can connect them to our app via Wi-Fi. There is really no way to avoid that. If you are not planning to use them with the app/Wi-Fi, we recommend our non Wi-Fi version, AC1274-RGB-24LFW-G.
How do I get the microphone on the controller to pick up sound?
There is no microphone or controller. This is a Wi-Fi kit and should be paired to the Good Earth Lighting app via Wi-Fi to control the lights. Can I use an existing wall switch to turn on/off? Does it remember last color and brightness settings?
You can turn on and off via the wall switch. It is possible that the fixture will reset if the switch is off too long so we do recommend using the app.
Can different sections be set to different colors, I.e. 24 one foot sections of different colors
No. That is not possible with this kit.
Can the strip be controlled by Bluetooth?
No. This must be paired to the app via Wi-Fi.
We are struggling to connect the LED light strip to the good earth app. We may have issues because the Wi-FI is not always set at 2.4 ghz.
If your router switches between 2.4ghz and 5.0ghz and you are unable to connect, reach out to your ISP to ensure you've switched to 2.4ghz. You may need to temporarily disable the 5.0ghz or create another network that only runs 2.4ghz. Make sure your phone or tablet is on the 2.4ghz network you are using to connect.
Do the lights come with a remote to control them or is it just from your phone?
These lights do not come with a remote control. The only way to operate them is with the Good Earth Lighting app VIA WiFi. We do have a similar set that works off a remote. Model #AC1274-RGB-24LFW-G.
How do I safely stretch it across the stove from one set of cabinets to the next?
We recommend using two separate kits. One on each side.

I'm holding the power button, but it isn't flashing, why is this?
The fixture should start flashing after holding down the button for six seconds. If the lights do not flash, there may be another issues.
