Are there extension kits for this or do you have to buy the ones with the remote each time?
We are so sorry to disappoint you, but there is no expansion kit available for this kit.

We are so sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, you cannot add on to the strip.
Is it possible to get just the power supply and an extra remote separately?
We are so sorry to disappoint you, but the parts/accessories for our tape light kits are not sold separately.

Why when I plug the lights in and try to turn them on they don’t work?
Please make sure there is power going to the lights and that the switch is on. You may need to disconnect and reconnect all the components.
How do you turn off the lights with the remote? Neither off buttons will turn off the lights.
Make sure the plastic tab is removed from the battery tray and make sure batteries are not dead. You also need to make sure the IR receiver is in sight of the remote for the remote to operate the lights.

I have to lighting strips in close proximity and the remotes are not working cooperatively. One remote is working both strips. Is there a way to change the frequency and/or the channel?
The remotes are line of sight. They are not programmed to the lights individually. As long as the IR receiver can receive signal from the remote, it will operate the lights.
I'm looking for a connector that will allow me to splice the tape lights. Do you have a connector to go from one strip to two in on the same power supply?
Unfortunately, the only accessories we make for the tape light kits are what comes included in the kit.
When I turn my lights off with the remote, it used to completely turn the lights off. Now it leaves them a dim green when I turn them off. How do I fix this?

This documentation is required in case you have a warranty claim in the future. There is no online registration.
Is there a way to program certain colors like red, white, and blue to fade in and out with each color?
Unfortunately not on the AC1274 tape. Some of the effects on the included remote will allow the LEDs to fade between colors; however, selecting specific colors to fade is only possible on the Wi-Fi Tape (AC1275).

Can two 24-foot power strips operate with one remote?
As long as they come with the same remote, yes, you can use one remote for multiple sets.

Yes. You can safely cut on the scissors marks. Be sure to seal the end with some clear silicione so no dust or moisture gets inside the strip.
Where are the places where you cut them?
You can safely cut on the scissor marks located on the tape in between the two sets of copper circles. Since it is an indoor/outdoor tape light and has a silicone coating, we recommend sealing the end you cut with some clear silicone.
Can you overlap 2 strips? The room is only 44 ft.
You cannot connect multiple strips together, but you can use one remote for multiple strips plugged in separately.
Where do you cut the IP65 tape? I have about 2 feet, too much.
There is a small scissor mark every few inches on the tape itself in between 4 or 5 copper circles. It is safe to cut on the scissor mark. We recommend sealing the end with clear silicione so no water or dust gets inside the tape.
Can you direct me to the correct connectors so that I can splice and ad wire for under the cupboard installation? We ordered some from Amazon that were to wide and wouldn't connect.
Because this is indoor/outdoor, it has a silicone coating over the tape light. This strip can only be cut if it needs to be shortened. You cannot reconnect to go around a corner, etc. Nothing aftermarket is compatible.
Can they be hardwired?
This fixture is plug-in only. We cannot recommend hardwiring.
The site states "input wattage" of 36; does that mean the set USES 36 watts? How many watts if dimmed.. 36 seems a lot for LEDs.
36 watts is the maximum the driver is rated for. If the tape light is dimmed, it will use less wattage.

Unfortuntely no. This kit can be cut if you need to shorten it, but does not have accessories to reconnect being indoor/outdoor.
Can you apply these lights to your motorcycle
These lights need to be plugged into a receptacle. The wiring cannot be manipulated.
When it states 1500 lumens, is that referring to lumens per foot of tape or for another measurement?
The entire 24 feet emits 1500 total lumens.
