AC1274-RGB-24LFW: Indoor/Outdoor 24-ft LED RGBW Plug-In Strip Light with Remote - White

How to connect with app?
This kit is not Wi-Fi enabled. Our Wi-Fi tape light kit is model #AC1275-RWF-24LFW-G.
Randomly my lights are stuck on flashing red and blue. It won’t go back to solid and my remote may not be working as well. How can I get help with this?
First thing would be to unplug the lights from the outlet and disconnect and reconnect all parts. If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for technical support and/or warranty replacement. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
Is there a way to program certain colors like red, white, and blue to fade in and out with each color?
Unfortunately not on the AC1274 tape. Some of the effects on the included remote will allow the LEDs to fade between colors; however, selecting specific colors to fade is only possible on the Wi-Fi Tape (AC1275).
When I try to turn off the lights, it goes to red and won't turn off. Do they not turn off?
We recommend unplugging the lights and disconnecting and reconnecting everything. Make sure the IR receiver/controller is visible to the remote. If this does not work, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for technical support and/or warranty replacement. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
Are there extension kits for this or do you have to buy the ones with the remote each time?
We are so sorry to disappoint you, but there is no expansion kit available for this kit.
Can the tape be cut?
Please be advised that due to the fact that this strip is IP65, water and dust proof, it is not recommended that you cut the strip. Once the strip is cut, it is no longer IP65 and can be damaged by water and/or dust. If you do need/want to cut the strip, please reach out to our customer service department at 1-800-291-8838 so they can assist.
Why when I plug the lights in and try to turn them on they don’t work?
Please make sure there is power going to the lights and that the switch is on. You may need to disconnect and reconnect all the components.
How do you turn off the lights with the remote? Neither off buttons will turn off the lights.
Make sure the plastic tab is removed from the battery tray and make sure batteries are not dead. You also need to make sure the IR receiver is in sight of the remote for the remote to operate the lights.
Can two 24-foot power strips operate with one remote?
As long as they come with the same remote, yes, you can use one remote for multiple sets.
My lights won't turn on. I checked the plugs and I plugged it in and they still don't work.
Make sure there is power going to the lights. If you are using the remote, make sure the plastic tab is removed from the battery tray and that the batteries are not dead. You also need to make sure the IR receiver is in sight of the remote.
How do you work the remote? I can’t seem to get it to work to change the color or even turn the lights on/off.
Make sure the plastic tab is removed from the battery tray and that the battery is not dead. You also need to make sure the IR receiver is in sight of the remote.
Can I connect 72 ft to one power pack?
You cannot exceed 24 feet in one run. You would need a separate power supply for each 24-foot reel.
Can you cut these? I need to customize length.
Yes. You can safely cut on the scissors marks. Be sure to seal the end with some clear silicione so no dust or moisture gets inside the strip.
The site states "input wattage" of 36; does that mean the set USES 36 watts? How many watts if dimmed.. 36 seems a lot for LEDs.
36 watts is the maximum the driver is rated for. If the tape light is dimmed, it will use less wattage.
I need an extra package of mounting clips and screws. How do I obtain them?
Please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 to inquire about parts.
Where are the places where you cut them?
You can safely cut on the scissor marks located on the tape in between the two sets of copper circles. Since it is an indoor/outdoor tape light and has a silicone coating, we recommend sealing the end you cut with some clear silicone.
Can you use 2-sided tape to mount LED light strips?
Yes. Double-sided tape is a great alternative if the adhesive wears out.
I have to lighting strips in close proximity and the remotes are not working cooperatively. One remote is working both strips. Is there a way to change the frequency and/or the channel?
The remotes are line of sight. They are not programmed to the lights individually. As long as the IR receiver can receive signal from the remote, it will operate the lights.
Can I cut RGBW strip?
This kit can be cut on the scissor marks located on the tape only. We recommend sealing the end you cut with some clear silicion so no water or dust gets inside the tape.
Where do you cut the IP65 tape? I have about 2 feet, too much.
There is a small scissor mark every few inches on the tape itself in between 4 or 5 copper circles. It is safe to cut on the scissor mark. We recommend sealing the end with clear silicione so no water or dust gets inside the tape.
Would like to know if I can get just the strips in order to get the lights around the whole patio or do I need to purchase another set and find a way to plug it in as well?
We are so sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, you cannot add on to the strip.
Can you overlap 2 strips? The room is only 44 ft.
You cannot connect multiple strips together, but you can use one remote for multiple strips plugged in separately.
I'm looking for a connector that will allow me to splice the tape lights. Do you have a connector to go from one strip to two in on the same power supply?
Unfortunately, the only accessories we make for the tape light kits are what comes included in the kit.
When I turn my lights off with the remote, it used to completely turn the lights off. Now it leaves them a dim green when I turn them off. How do I fix this?
Try unplugging the lights, disconnecting everything, and reconnecting everything. If this does not work, reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
Is it possible to get just the power supply and an extra remote separately?
We are so sorry to disappoint you, but the parts/accessories for our tape light kits are not sold separately.
Does the TV need to be on in order for the strip lights to work?
These lights plug into an outlet not the TV. As long as the switch for the outlet is on, the lights will work.
After installing our strip (which worked originally), it started flashing red and green and now none of the light control buttons seem to be working. We unplugged it for a while and that didn’t help.
Power cycle the lights by unplugging everything and reconnecting everything. If you still experience issues after, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
I can't get the blue light to come on.
Try disconnecting and reconnecting all parts. Make sure the IR controller/receiver is visible to the remote.
Is there a way to get my 24" LED strip into AP mode, or Manual Mode?
This is not a Wi-Fi tape light kit.
Can you direct me to the correct connectors so that I can splice and ad wire for under the cupboard installation? We ordered some from Amazon that were to wide and wouldn't connect.
Because this is indoor/outdoor, it has a silicone coating over the tape light. This strip can only be cut if it needs to be shortened. You cannot reconnect to go around a corner, etc. Nothing aftermarket is compatible.
All I need is the power RGBW controller box. How do I order just that?
We do not sell the parts/accessories separately for our tape light kits. If something was missing from your kit, please reach out to customer service for warranty replacement. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
Installed them behind my TV and they aren’t working at all, took the plastic battery tab out and everything. Is it possible that when I plugged the USB in first it broke or something?
Unplug the lights from the TV. Plug them back in and make sure the IR controller/receiver is visible to the remote. Also try replacing the battery in the remote. If you are still experiencing an issue, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for technical support and/or warranty replacement. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
How do I register for the warranty?
We are happy you chose our product, thank you. As with anything that has a great warranty, keep a copy of your original purchase receipt as originals fade and staple it to your instruction sheets/package insert containing the Warranty reference and file away. This documentation is required in case you have a warranty claim in the future. There is no online registration.
Why do lights keep flashing? It's not a Wi-Fi strip.
There could be an issue with your connections. Unplug the lights from the outlet. Disconnect all three pieces and reconnect. Make sure the IR controller/receiver is visible to the remote. If you are still experiencinng issues, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
Can they be hardwired?
This fixture is plug-in only. We cannot recommend hardwiring.
