How do I change the light settings? I'd like the bright white setting.
To change the light settings, select the color temperature by using the slide switch on the fixture pan. 
Is it normal for the back of the light to get hot?
All of our products are safety tested for heat and are safe when installed according to the instruction sheets included with the fixture. All light sources produce heat, all with varying amounts depending on the type of fixtrure and where it is installed. Generally xenon or halogen fixtures produce the most heat. We recommend you not to store food directly above xenon or halogen fixture for your food safety.
Can I link this to a remote?
Unfortunately, we have not done testing with aftermarket remotes for this fixture.
Light seemed to be unevenly flush with the ceiling. The brackets flush the light to the ceiling And the unbracket area pull away from the ceiling. How can I fix this?
Make sure the mounting bracket is not overtightened to the junction box. This can cause the fixture to bow and/or not sit flush with the ceiling.
What would cause the brightness of a Jordan Decorative Ceiling Fixture (Model FL1217-NSM-17LF2-G) to dim?

How do you replace the bulbs and how long are they expected to last?
This is an LED fixture so there are no bulbs to replace. The fixture should last around 50,000 hours. When the LEDs fail, the fixture will need to be replaced. If the fixture fails prior to the warranty period ending, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for technical support and/or warranty replacement.
