How can I reduce the light output? They are just too bright. My neighbors are complaining!

The Energy Star LED bulb is included with the product and is 800 lumens at full brightness, but a brighter or dimmer bulb could be used if preferred. It’s a 120V fixture. Standard Edison base socket.

Is it possible to disengage the sensor?

The sensor cannot be overridden. You can turn on and off at the wall switch.

Can you buy a 5000k bulb for this lantern?

Can I manually turn on the light?

If the fixture is wired to a wall switch, you can turn the fixture on and off with the switch. It will only work from dusk to dawn.

We live in Barrie ON and our temperatures in the winter can be -30 C but the specs for this item states cold start to -20 C. Will this work in our climate? What exactly does "cold start to -20" mean?

For -20 C cold start, that means it will turn on at full brightness up to -20 C. Technically the light should still turn on even below that temp but not at full brightness.

Can you use Philips Hue light bulbs in these fixtures?

The sensor doesn't work. We just purchased a week ago. Can I get a replacement? We bought the light at Costco in Terrebonne, Quebec.

Can you access the bulb from the bottom to change it easily without having to take anything apart?

Yes. The fixture should be open at the moment so you can easily replace the bulb.

Will this work with a motion sensor light bulb?

We have not done any testing on the fixture with motion-sensing light bulbs.

Costco in Ontario Canada have stopped selling the Outdoor Lantern with Clear Water Glass and LED Bulb - Matte Black; cannot seem to find it anywhere else in Canada. Do you have any other distributors in Ontario Canada that sell this specific product? Can I order directly from this website? Will this product be back to Costco next year (2022)?

This fixture is sold exclusively through Costco Canada. It is not currently available throuhg any other retailers, and we do not sell directly to the public. This fixture has not been discontinued, but may be out of stock at some Costco locations. Continue checking with your local Costco for an ETA on when the fixtures will be available.

How can I test in daylight the Outdoor LED Wall Lantern (model #CO1290-BK2-07LA0-G). I've installed it and I'm unable to illuminate the fixture.

You can try covering the sensor, but it is best to test after dusk.

If the wall switch is in the OFF position does the sensor continue to turn the light on at dusk and off at dawn? In other words, if you don't want the light to be on all night is there a way to turn it off?

If the light switch is off, there will be no power going to fixture. Therefore, it will not turn on.

Just confirming.....you MUST leave the wall switch in the "ON" position for the sensor to continue to turn the light on at dusk and off at dawn. So if the wall switch is in the "OFF" position, the lights will not come on.

That is correct. If the switch is off, there is no power going to the fixture, so the fixture will remain off.
