Customer Questions
Can a LED bulb be replaced with a Day Light bulb?
Unfortunately, no. LEDs are not replaceable like a traditional bulb.
Just connected the fixture but the light is dim. The switch is regular and does not have a dimmer capacity.
Please make sure your wiring is tightly connected. If so, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
Can the LED light be replaced if it goes out and where can I find a replacement if so?
LED diodes are not replaceable like a traditional light bulb. If the LEDs fail, the fixture would need to be replaced.
How do you register the product for the 10-year warranty?
We are happy you chose our product, thank you. As with anything that has a great warranty, keep a copy of your original purchase receipt as originals fade and staple it to your instruction sheets/package insert containing the Warranty reference and file away. This documentation is required in case you have a warranty claim in the future. There is no online registration.
What are the compatible dimmer switches that work with this light? We have an LED dimmer switch but the light buzzes in the mid range?
This fixture is dimmable by specific forward phase electronic (triac) dimmers. Dimmers tested to be compatible with this fixture are the Lutron Skylark® SCL-153P*, Diva® DVCL-153P*, Maestro® MACL-153M*, Toggler® TGCL-153P*, Lumea® LECL-153P*, Caseta® PD-6WCL*, Eaton Halo® SAL06P*. (This list of dimmers does not imply any guarantee or warranty of compatibility with a particular application. Dimmers not listed do not imply non-compatibility.) Engineers recommend the Leviton DSL06-1LZ to reduce humming/buzzing.
We bought the Jordan and didn't realize that it was dimmable at the time. Will this light fixture still be useable and safe with a regular on off switch which is not dimmable? If this fixture is not compatible, is there a recommendation for one that will work with an on off switch that is similar to the Jordan?
This fixture will work just fine on a regular wall switch. The dimmer is only an option.
I just had an electrician install the Jordan yesterday, with a Lutron TGCL-153PH-IV dimmer switch. When powered on, the fixture emits a noticeable buzz, which becomes louder when the dimmer switch is moved lower. The loudest buzz occurs when dimmer switch is positioned at midway point. The least amount of buzz is emitted with dimmer switch at the brightest point. The buzz is very irritating, to the point that I don't even want to turn on the light. Other integrated LED lights do not emit this buzz. Is this a defect with the Jordan, and if so, how can it be corrected?
Yes, it is normal to have some humming with LED fixtures. Typically in installations the humming is indicative of the dimmer causing a vibration in the fixtures. Also, interference from another appliance on the circuit can contribute as well. Unfortunately, there is currently no industry standard when it comes to dimming LEDs and the performance will vary greatly from one to the next. When LEDs are used on a dimming control, depending on the design of the LED, they can produce high current spikes. These high spikes may cause the diodes or the dimmer itself to produce an audible buzz or hum. Led dimmers start up with the lowest range of 25-30%, and this is normal for dimming LED fixtures. We suggest leaving the dimmer on "high" when you turn off the switch so that it will start off on high receiving the full amount of electricity to begin with. Then you can dim down to the level of choice. This will lower the delay of lighting when you turn the dimmer switch on when you enter the room.

While our instruction sheets state this fixture is dimmable by triac dimmers and are not compatible with 0-10V dimming systems, the dimmers we tested to be compatible with this fixture are the Lutron: Diva® C•L™: DVWCL-153PH, Lumea® C•L™: LGCL-153PLH, and Toggler® C•L™: TGCL-153PH. This list of dimmers does not imply any guarantee or warranty of compatibility with a particular application. Dimmers not listed do not imply non-compatibility.

We have tested the list of dimmers recommended in the instruction sheets and they were compatible in our application as well as for many customers. Each installation application is different and is affected by different things unique to your particular installation such as wiring in the house, what else is on the same circuit, appliances in the area, etc. LED's are electronic circuits and can be interfered with by a variety things present. They differ from one application to another. With that being said, we share what other customers have found worked in their particular application in hopes that it may help you in your application and meet your needs if the specified dimmers do not work for you.The following is a list of dimmers other customers have found to work in their application after experiencing dimming interference. We hope this information will be helpful to finding a dimmer that will work for your application.

Note that 3-way LED dimmers are not recommended because they have not been tested through UL.

3-way switches are okay with the following limits; there should be no difference in a single pole switch and a 2-pole 3-way switch of the same dimmer series as long as the second 3-way switch is not also a dimmer. The fixture will not work well if you try to use 2-dimmer, 3-way switches.

Dimmers can be found at local retail stores and 1000bulbs.com, Zoro, Lowes, Electric Bargain Store, Westway Electric Supply, Home Depot and other locations.
