Customer Questions
Can you add a remote to this fixture?
This fixture does not come with an available remote. We have not tested with aftermarket remotes.
Is there any way to switch color temperatures remotely? I would like to change the color temperature periodically in a room and don’t want to climb a ladder to toggle the switch. I noticed that the display model at Lowe's cycles between color temperatures. Any thoughts on how they do it?
Althought you cannot change the CCT switch remotely, you can use a compatible dimmer switch. This fixture is dimmable by specific forward phase electronic (triac) dimmers. Dimmers tested to be compatible with this fixture are the Lutron: Skylark® SCL-153P*, Diva® DVCL-153P*, Maestro® MACL-153M*, Toggler® TGCL-153P*, Lumea® LECL-153P*, Caseta® PD-6WCL*, Eaton Halo® SAL06P*. (This list of dimmers does not imply any guarantee or warranty of compatibility with a particular application. Dimmers not listed do not imply non-compatibility.)
Can I get just the lens for the 48” Fullerton?
Unfortunately there is no replacement lens available for this fixture.
We bought this light and got one of the compatible light dimmers, although the light doesn’t go all the way up to the Daylight options. It only has one color and can go dim, how can that be fixed?
This fixture has a CCT switch located on the driver on the back side of the panel that allows you to select from 2700K to 6500K. You may need to select the property color temperature from the CCT switch and then dim down.
I need installation instructions. There were none in the box.
The instructions are available on our website under "Downloads" on the product page.
Do you still make the smaller size of the Fullerton?
This is the only size Fullerton fixture we manufacturer.
Is this fixture Wi-Fi compatible?
This fixture is not Wi-Fi enabled. Please check out FP1247-AL5-24LFW and FP1247-BLK-48LFW
I took the light out of the box and read the instruction sheet. Where is the "light setting slide switch" located? I cannot find it on the light/housing anywhere.
The light setting slide switch is located in the driver (white square/rectangular box) on the back of the panel.
Is this edge lit or direct lit?
These fixtures are edge lit.
Could you please give me the model number of the triac dimmers that are compatible with the Fullerton?
This fixture is dimmable by specific forward phase electronic (triac) dimmers. Dimmers tested to be compatible with this fixture are the Lutron: Skylark® SCL-153P*, Diva® DVCL-153P*, Maestro® MACL-153M*, Toggler® TGCL-153P*, Lumea® LECL-153P*, Caseta® PD-6WCL*, Eaton Halo® SAL06P*. (This list of dimmers does not imply any guarantee or warranty of compatibility with a particular application. Dimmers not listed do not imply non-compatibility.)
Can you use without a dimmer switch?
This fixture will work properly on a regular wall switch. The dimmer is only an option.
The fixtures I purchased do not have a ground wire to connect my house circuit. The instructions show an available ground wire to connect too.
The ground wire for this fixture should be located on the mounting bracket.
How do you change the brightness setting once the fixture has been installed?
You have to remove the panel from the bracket to change to color temperature.
I have lost the plug, that covers the security screw, on the outside of the fixture. Where can I purchase a replacement plug?
Please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for parts replacement. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
My current light has two different wall switches. Will I be able to use a dimmer at one location and still use standard on/off switch at other location?
Yes. You can put a dimmer on one wall switch. The other one cannot have a dimmer.
How to remove the panel from the bracket
Remove the locking fastener or tab, and slide the panel off the bracket. See tutorial: FP1247 1x4 FT Flat Panel Ceiling Flush Mount Installation
What is the average light setting?
Are you asking what color temperature the light automatically comes on with? Or what people typically set it for? It should come on at 4000K. They way you set it is personal preference.
Does the LUTRON led+ Toggler dimmer TGCL-153PH-LA work with this fixture?
Yes, this dimmer should be compatible with this fixture.
How does the lighting fixture mount to the base?
Keeping the support wire hooks attached to the mounting plate, lift up the LED panel, being careful not to scratch ceiling. Align and insert the 2 metal tabs (on the same side of the mounting plate as the support wires) into the corresponding slots on the LED panel. While keeping the first 2 metal tabs inserted, pivot the panel up and insert the 2 remaining tabs on the opposite side. Slide panel until tabs are locked into place. Note that the direction will be either left or right, depending on panel orientation. Slowly release fixture, making sure it stays in place. Lock the tab into place using the latch.
How do you change the light bulbs if it goes out. Is this an LED strip or a bulb?
This is an LED fixture. There are no light bulbs. If the fixture fails, the fixture will need to be replaced.
