Customer Questions
If you buy two packs, can one remote work both of them?
Yes. One remote will work two sets.
How do you get the remote to work? I’ve installed all the batteries into the pucks and have tried turning them on and off and nothing happens.
First thing would to make sure the plastic tab in the battery tray is removed and that the batteries are not dead. If neither of these are possible, and the remote is still not operating your lights, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
How do I get all the lights to turn on at the same time? I am having to push the on button multiple times to get all the lights on.
These fixtures are line of sight. So although you can use one remote for multiple fixtures, you do need to point the remote toward the fixture you are operating.
The remote will turn the lights on but it will not turn the lights off.
Please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for assistance. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
I lost my remote. Do I have the option to buy one separately?
Please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for parts replacement. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
What is the “easy” way to unlock the back cover? I’ve tried turning it by hand, using towels to help hold it, etc... still can’t get it open.
Use two hands. Hold the front of the light with your left hand and the back of the light with your right. Twist the front clockwise and the back counterclockwise.
I need one additional light. Can I buy that one separately?
Unfortunately, these lights are not sold separately. They are only available in a 6-pack.
Can I register my warranty online?
There is no online registration. Keep a copy of your original purchase receipt as originals fade and staple it to your instruction sheets/package insert containing the Warranty reference and file away. This documentation is required in case you have a warranty claim in the future.
Do these work for only 20 hours before you have to replace the batteries?
Yes. These lights have a 20-hour battery life with fresh batteries. The lights will begin to dim down once the batteries starting wearing down.
I cannot turn cover of light to open.
Remove cover by rotating counterclockwise. Use two hands and twist in opposite directions. If you are still unable to open any of your puck lights, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for technical support and/or warranty replacement.
We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.
Battery life at 10% setting?
Battery life is 20 hours.
I want the timer to leave the lights on for four hours. How do I do that?
If you use the remote timer, you can only set it for 1, 5, 15, or 30 minutes. The only way to leave the lights on longer is to tap them on, but you will need to turn them off with the remote or tap them off. You cannot set it for 4 hours.
I cannot remove cover in install new batteries.
Using both hands, twist one end clockwise and the other counterclockwise to remove battery compartment cover.
When I hit the off button the lights blink but will not turn off?
Try replacing the batteries and make sure the lights are within range. This is line of sight. If this does not help, please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for technical support and/or warranty replacement. We are available Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CDT.
How do I change the battery in the remote control?
To open the battery compartment, press the small black piece towards the center and pull tray out.
To operate the timer function, do you have to use the remote ([On] > [1])? Or can you program an individual light for a 1-minute shutoff and then turn it on by pressing the light?
To operate the timer you do need to use the remote. Tapping the light just works on/off.
Can't get the cover to open to replace the battery
Use both hands and twist. The plastic can be a little stiff when new. You can use a blow dryer to heat the plastic up for a couple of seconds. They should open right up.
Ok to use in bathrooms?
These are approved for damp locations, but should not be in the shower or tub enclosure.
How long do batteries last?
Batteries should last about 20 hours when brand new.
My light keeps turning off even if I don’t have the timer on. It worked when I first got it, but then after a few days it keeps turning off on its own. Not sure how to keep the light burning continuously.
Are you tapping them on and off or using the remote? If using the remote, make sure you are not using the auto timer.
The remote is not working.
Make sure the plastic tab is removed from the battery compartment and that the remote is pointed towards the lights. Try also replacing the battery. Please reach out to customer service at 1-800-291-8838 for assistance.
