These lights are IP65 — meaning they are water- and dust-proof and can withstand outdoor weather conditions — making them a reliable, long-lasting lighting solution year-round. Battery powered, these lights are easy to set up and install, no wiring required. The included batteries (6 AA batteries total, 3 for each light) are easy to access and change in the battery compartment. There are two ways to mount the lights — yard mount or wall/deck mount. Simply stake the security light anywhere in the ground with the two-piece ground stake, or mount the light to the wall with the included Command™ Strips from 3M or screws.

The light sensor ensures the light stays off during the day. To prolong battery life, the light only turns on at night when it detects motion up to 100 degrees up to 15 feet. After 15 seconds, the light automatically turns off.
